November 29, 2011Fresh off work with Wale, Re-Up Gang, and Skeme, we're finally gearing up to release our debut promo-only compilation album, The Edward Norton LP, as a free digital download this December.
With support from 2dopeboyz.com and LA-based clothing label Rogue Status/DTA, the project comes as a rolling release that will be unveiled over the course of the next month. New singles will hit the web every week until the full download becomes available on Tuesday, December 20th.
Guest features on the LP include Murs, Casey Veggies, Paul Wall, Omar Cruz, Skeme, Sunni Colòn, Tunji, C-San, Noah King, NiRè AllDai, Aztek Escobar, Lucky Seven and one of our own, James Guffey. The album's 13 free-form tracks are woven together with dialogue from our favorite Norton films, an homage to the actor's theatrical diversity.
Each single will premiere at 2dopeboyz.com & dtaposse.com . We also plan to release a limited edition t-shirt in conjunction with Rogue Status/DTA to celebrate The Edward Norton LP record release party in Venice, California.
